Rising Pune Supergiants all rounder and Englishman Ben Stokes became the most expensive player of IPL auction 2018 after Rajasthan Royals grabbed him for a whopping Rs 12.5 crores.

Stokes is an English international cricketer and former vice-captain of the English Test team. Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Stokes moved to northern England at the age of 12, where he learnt the game and began playing club cricket for local teams. He is an all-rounder who bowls right-arm fast-medium pace and bats left-handed.
He holds the record for England's fastest ever Test double-century, the fastest ever Test match 250, and the highest ever score for a Test batsman batting at six. He also holds the record for the most runs scored by an individual batsman in the morning session of a Test match. Stokes became the highest paid overseas player in the history of the Indian Premier League in 2017, fetching a record contract of ₹145 million (£1.7 million).

He debuted for India against South Africa on 16 December 2010 for the 1st Test at Centurion. He was brought in place of Zaheer Khan who sat out because of injury. He took 8 wickets in the 5 match ODI series vs Zimbabwe with best figures 4–41, but Unadkat has failed to impress against big teams as he went wicketless in ODIs vs Australia and West Indies.

Jaydev Unadkat become the most expensive Indian Of IPL auction 2018 after Rajasthan bought him for an enormous Rs 11.5 crores. He previously played for rising Pune Supergaints.

Manish Pandey is an Indian international cricketer. He is primarily a right-handed middle-order batsman representing Karnataka in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He played as an opening batsman for his former IPL team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and became the first Indian player to score a century in the IPL in 2009.

Pandey made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against Zimbabwe on 14 July 2015.He had a successful debut that included a 144-run partnership with Kedar Jadhav. Pandey joined Jadhav at the crease when India was struggling at 82 for the loss of 4 wickets and made his maiden half-century before being dismissed for 71 runs. He was selected in the ODI squad for the Australia tour in January 2016. In the final game at the Sydney Cricket Ground, he played a 'match-winning inning' of 104 helping India win its only match of the series.

Lokesh Rahul commonly known as KL Rahul and also as Lokesh Rahul, is an Indian cricketer who plays as a right-handed batsman and occasional wicket-keeper. He plays for India internationally, Karnataka in domestic cricket and the Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League.

After appearing for India at the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, Rahul made his international debut against Australia in the 2014–15 Test series at Melbourne. In his second Test match at Sydney, he scored 110, his maiden Test century. He became the first Indian to score a century on One Day International debut, scoring 100* against Zimbabwe in 2016 at Harare Sports Club. He is only the third Indian batsman to score a century in all the three formats of International cricket. He is also the second-fastest batsman to score century in Twenty20, and the second-fastest Indian in all the formats, to score a century (100 for 46 balls),scoring 110* for 51 balls against West Indies on 27 August 2016 which is the highest score by an Indian in T20 international. Rahul is the only batsman to reach the score of 100 with a boundary on his maiden centuries in all the three formats of international cricket.

He was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and attended St Joseph's Nudgee College and the Queensland Academy of Sport. He is known for being an explosive batsman capable of hitting big sixes.

Kolkata Knight Riders got Australian Chris Lynn for 9.5 crores, making him the fifth most expensive player of IPL 2018.
